Today we visited Cox Arboretum to admire the different types of plant and wildlife. Walking around on the paths, I observed many different types of trees and flowers. It was a long climb up the stairs to the top of the tree tower, but the view was worth it. From the top of the tree tower, you could see the whole park, full of beautiful green trees. The rain was bothersome and cold at first but once it cleared up you could appreciate the beauty of the park. I’ve been to cox arboretum before, but I had never taken notice of all the different types of plants they have there. At the pond near the entrance, they have multiple types of beautiful and colorful flowers. Seeing all the plants, especially the flowers, made me feel happy to be there surrounded by all the nature.
Before we left, we wrote a Hai Gu poem. Which is a Haiku poem based on a picture of nature. Here is my poem:
